Doug Yeum

Doug Yeum is currently the Head of Global Partner Organization of Amazon Web Services. Prior to this role, he was the Technical Advisor (Chief of Staff) to AWS CEO, Andy Jassy. Yeum also held the position of managing director of Amazon Web Services Korea since January 2014. In this capacity, Yeum led all customer-facing teams that work with enterprises and startups in Korea. His management responsibilities included engaging with the c-level executives with their digital transformation and innovation strategies, developing business through channels and alliances, driving the overall awareness of AWS in Korea, and managing the business operations.Prior to AWS, Yeum was the Managing Director of Google Korea responsible for all sales and business development operations in Korea. Before becoming the MD in 2011, he also held roles as the Head of Distribution for APAC, Head of AdSense Online for Korea, and Head of Business Development for Koreato contribute to the overall success of Google Korea since joining the company in Feb 2007.Yeum also has experience as an entrepreneur, business consultant, and M&A analyst. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
