Prior to his appointment Magee, who joined ConnectWise in 2011, was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Before that he was ConnectWise’s vice president of worldwide channel and alliance. He has worked his entire 20-year career in the channel. He was director of channel sales at CA from 2009 to 2011, and he is a member of the board of directors at CompTIA, according to LinkedIn.

In other moves, Craig Fulton, who had been chief product officer, was put into to the newly created position of chief customer success officer. Bellini said this new role was created in response to overwhelmingly positive feedback the company received on empowering customers to grow their business and exceed their goals.

Fulton, a former U.S. Marine, will be responsible for building a team dedicated to the success of ConnectWise partners around the world. As part of this job, the company said Fulton will bring together ConnectWise’s support, consulting and on-boarding teams into a single unit. Fulton’s previous roles at ConnectWise include senior product manager, business consultant and systems engineer, the company said.

Also part of the reorganization was Jeff Bishop, who is moving from his role as vice president of ecosystem to chief product officer. Bishop has been with ConnectWise since 2015. He will be in charge of product development, platform infrastructure and ecosystem technology.

Before ConnectWise Bishop worked as product marketing manager at Agilent Technologies, and as business development manager at Elsinore Technologies, according to LinkedIn.

ConnectWise also said it is preparing to say goodbye to 10-year company veteran Kathy Smith, who plans to retire in 2019. Smith, whose career spans 35 years, is moving to an advisory role after working as senior vice president of services and education.

“Kathy has been a trusted leader and mentor at ConnectWise for 10 years, and I credit her and her team with the incredibly high customer satisfaction ratings we receive from our partners—which are consistently well over 90 percent,” Bellini said in a statement. “I thank Kathy for her amazing contributions, 110 percent dedication, and love for our partners.”
