NTT Data Inc’s Push Into The U.S.

The acquisition of Aspirent supports NTT Data Inc.’s mission to be the preferred digital innovation partner for enterprises on a global basis.

In August, NTT Data Inc. said the company will launch six innovation centers across the globe to focus on bringing advanced technologies to clients, including an Innovation Studio located in Plano, Texas.

NTT Data Inc. also includes recent NTT Group acquisitions of Atlanta-based cloud and data specialist Hashmap, as well as Chainalytics, a supply chain consulting firm also based in Atlanta.

“Aspirent continues our targeted focus on becoming a trusted adviser for our clients following our acquisitions of Hashmap and Chainalytics,” said Wayne Busch, group president of Consulting and Digital Transformation for NTT Data Inc., in a statement. “As we help our clients navigate critical business challenges through the use of data, this acquisition expands and strengthens NTT Data’s analytics and advisory capabilities.”

Financial terms of the Aspirent acquisition were not disclosed.
