WATCH: Fuze Exec Discusses New Benefits Of Global Partner Program

Partners are seeing the benefits from the latest enhancements to the Fuze Global Partner Program, said Fuze Senior Director Ken Westermann. In October the Boston-based Unified-Communications-as-a-Service provider hosted its first partner summit in Boston, where it introduced new partner tools for delivering professional services to the enterprise. Since then, Westermann said partners have closed more deals and worked closer with the Fuze sales teams.

“To date, we’ve actually had two deals close with partners. They’ve helped lead the way to discovery and have helped our sales teams figure out a better way to sell and close a product,” said Westermann.

The Global Partner Program enables partners to cross-sell their services as part of the Fuze deployment to boost renewal rates and add business value. The latest benefits include more training courses, support from a team of subject matter experts, and access to Fuze-sourced professional services opportunities. The new tools aim to speed up the implementation process and troubleshoot any issues on the network.

“So, now, opposed to manually adding individuals from a customer, you can mass upload those users and provision them all at the same time with these tools,” explained Westermann. Another tool centers around Fuze’s partnership with AppNeta, a performance and end-user monitoring company also based in Boston. The offering is a cloud-based service that enables Fuze customers to understand the capabilities of their network and instantly realize the root cause of any service-impacting impairments. The performance metrics and resulting second-order analytics are stored for up to one year in the cloud, which allows partners to spot trends and drive better business decisions and efficiencies.

The program enhancements come as partners continue to play a key role in Fuze’s growth strategy. Customers are becoming more mobile and Westermann says partners can help manage the technology in a way that Fuze can’t.

“We have hundreds of thousands of endpoints out there currently and there’s no way for us to touch them all, but if our partners come into play, they have the ability to touch them and manage them with us and help those customers stay on the cutting edge,” said Westermann.
