North American solution provider standout Presidio is expanding its global footprint with the official completion of the acquisition of Ireland-based Arkphire, which serves international customers across more than 90 countries.
The $2.8 billion company, ranked No. 22 on CRN’s 2020 Solution Provider 500 list, said the acquisition of Arkphire will create a new global IT solutions business with the ability to server customers in all major markets throughout the world. Arkphire has operations in Dublin, London, Sao Paulo, Singapore, Tel Aviv and Tokyo, with clients spanning from Asia to Africa and from Europe to the Middle East.
Presidio CEO Bob Cagnazzi said the combined strengths of both companies will allow his New York-based solution provider to create a full services lifecycle business with global manage service capabilities at scale. “In particular, we will be seeking to leverage Arkphire’s experience, expertise and global footprint to provide Presidio with a platform to drive business expansion across both Europe and Asia Pacific,” he said in a statement.

Financial terms of the deal, which was initially announced last November, were not disclosed.
Arkphire — which has 250 employees and generates revenue of over 150 million euros (about US $184 million) — specializes in providing integrated solutions and services around desktops, collaboration, networking, security and the data center aimed at digital transformation. Some of Arkphire’s top vendor partnerships include Cisco, Citrix, Dell Technologies, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Lenovo and Microsoft.
"We are thrilled to formally complete the @Arkphire acquisition and to combine the strengths of both organizations to provide the highest levels of service to our customers globally.” – Presidio CEO @bcagnazz

The acquisition of Arkphire comes just five months after Presidio announced it had purchased cloud consulting specialist Coda Global in a move to give customers better hybrid cloud solutions. Dallas, Texas-based Coda Global, which also has offices in India, provides expertise to help customers accelerate their cloud-native transformation.
The acquisitions of Arkphire and Coda Global come after Presidio was taken private in 2019 following being purchased by private equity firm BC Partners. London-based BC Partners purchased Presidio for $2.1 billion in late 2019 and quickly took the company private after two and a half years on the public market.
Presidio serves 7,300 mid-market and enterprise organizations across various industries. The solution provider now has approximately 3,000 employees mostly based in dozens of offices across the United States.
