Ming-Chi Kuo, a TF International Securities analyst who’s frequently made correct Apple predictions in the past, shared the prediction in a new research report, according to MacRumors.

When it debuts in Q1, the iPhone SE 2 is expected to have a starting price of $399, according to Kuo.

The iPhone SE 2 is predicted to feature a larger display than that of the original iPhone SE, which launched in 2016 with a 4-inch display.

Instead, Kuo believes that the iPhone SE 2 will have a form factor that resembles the 4.7-inch iPhone 8.

The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus were the last Apple smartphones to feature the once-standard iPhone design of large bezels above and below the screen space. Apple continues to sell the iPhone 8 for a starting price of $449.

Crucially, the iPhone SE 2 is expected to include the same A13 Bionic processor that powers the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro models, according to Kuo's report.

The iPhone SE 2 will also include 3 GB of RAM and two internal storage options, 64 GB and 128 GB, according to Kuo.

Meanwhile, Apple is planning to launch augmented-reality glasses and other new hardware products during the first two quarters of 2020, according to a previous report from Kuo.

Kuo believes that the AR glasses will arrive in the second quarter and will be positioned as an accessory for the iPhone.

A new iPad Pro will also be coming in the first quarter, while refreshed MacBook models, with a new "scissor switch" keyboard design, are expected in the second quarter, Kuo said.
