As technology vendors shed tens of thousands of jobs, citing a decrease in demand since the height of the pandemic plus growing inflation in the U.S., CRN has looked at open listings on LinkedIn that would bring new talent into the channel— either by working with a partner or by working with a vendor to support partners.

Open Jobs In The IT Channel

Open roles include:

Here are some of the latest job openings for the channel.

American Technology Services

American Technology Services (ATS) has listings on LinkedIn for a Level One information security (InfoSec) analyst and a senior Cisco engineer.

For the InfoSec analyst role, ATS—a Fairfax, Va.-based MSSP—seeks candidates with at least three years of experience in the space and a bachelor’s degree.

The new hire will review security alerts across various client implementations in a multitenant environment, advise customers on security best practices, meet service-level agreement (SLA) demands and identify automation opportunities, among other tasks, according to the LinkedIn listing.

The senior Cisco engineer should have a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of work experience, according to the listing. Candidates should know Cisco Firepower, Cisco Meraki, SonicWall, FortiGate, Microsoft Azure and other related technologies.

ATS also seeks a senior sales director in Virginia, according to a listing.

Candidates should have at least 10 years of sales and marketing experience, a bachelor’s degree and skills in ZoomInfo, HubSpot and social media.

The new hire will develop and execute sales strategies, identify target markets, create sales plans and monitor sales performance, among other responsibilities.

Logically

Logically has a listing on LinkedIn for a cybersecurity account executive.

The Portland, Maine-based company—No. 229 on CRN’s 2022 Solution Provider 500—seeks candidates with at least an associate’s degree and at least five years in a selling or consulting capacity for a cybersecurity company, an MSP or an MSSP.

Candidates should have at least two years of selling experience with network security, managed security services, cloud security, penetration testing, vulnerability management, endpoint, threat intelligence and any products from vendors such as SonicWall, Fortinet, Cisco and Huntress.

New hires should travel up to 30 percent of the time and prospect for net-new business and referrals, according to the listing. New hires will close new accounts, service and cross-sell existing ones, deliver weekly and monthly forecasts and conduct bill reviews.

Logically also listed an opening for a Network Operations Center (NOC) service delivery coordinator, according to LinkedIn.

Candidates should have at least a year of experience in technical support, ConnectWise or a similar system, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Dynamics, according to the listing.

The new hire will assess technical requests, review aging tickets, work with managed services engineers, ensure SLA compliance, provide cost estimates for work outside SLAs and prepare customer critical incident reports, among other tasks.

Critical Start

Critical Start—a member of CRN’s 2023 MSP 500—has a listing on LinkedIn for a customer support director.

The Plano, Texas-based company seeks candidates with at least five years of experience in customer support, account management and customer ticketing systems with an MSP or MSSP. Candidates should have at last three years of experience with direct technical support for customers and reporting packages based on support team outcomes, according to the listing.

Candidates should have Security+, Microsoft Security, Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security and other relevant certifications.

This director will deliver security outcomes to customers, provide accurate and timely reports on support metrics—including average time to resolve and the volume of open tickets compared with closed ones.

The director will serve as a global incident manager for major issues from inception to resolution, providing a root cause analysis (RCA), according to the listing.

Critical Start also lists an opening for a regional sales executive making $125,000 in base salary.

Candidates should have at least two years of experience in midmarket or enterprise sales, a bachelor’s degree and be located in New York, New Jersey or Pennsylvania, according to the listing.

Capgemini

Capgemini—No. 5 on CRN’s 2022 Solution Provider 500—has multiple listings for jobs on LinkedIn.

The France-based company’s open roles include:

*A business analyst making up to $130,000—candidates should have experience with programming, Microsoft Office and be prepared to analyze, design and develop products and services for clients.

CGI

CGI—No. 22 on CRN’s 2022 Solution Provider 500—has multiple open job listings on LinkedIn.

The Montreal-based company listed the following open positions on the social media network:

*Director of retail and consumer services for the Pittsburgh area making up to $235,400 a year—candidates should have at least five years of experience in retail and as a solution architect, business consultant, technology architect or similar role.

*Workforce planning business partner making up to $146,900 a year—candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in federal workforce planning, resource management and talent acquisition.

*Software integration engineer making up to $198,400—candidates should have at least three years of experience in building data governance structures, setting up data management best practices, data standardization and cleaning processes.

*Level two budget specialist making $39.62 an hour—candidates should have at least five years of financial experience, a finance or accounting degree and skills in processing invoices plus the ability to pass moderate risk public trust (MRPT) clearance.

The McLean, Va.-based company seeks candidates with a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience.

The job is 60 percent on-site and 40 percent remote, according to the listing. New hires will install and configure virtual machine (VM) hosts, execute complex migrations, maintain 80 percent minimum billable utilization, troubleshoot advanced applications and servers and other tasks.

Right Systems

Right! Systems—No. 237 on CRN’s 2022 Solution Provider 500—has a listing on LinkedIn for a service desk engineer making up to $80,000 a year.

The Lacey, Wash.-based company seeks candidates near its Portland, Ore., or Meridian, Idaho, offices.

Candidates should have at least one year of technology experience and knowledge of networking, servers, virtualization, security products and Microsoft offerings, according to the listing.

The new hire will report to the service desk manager. The new hire will work on routing, switching, wireless, edge, web application firewalls, storage, backup systems and software systems, among other technologies.

Xerox

Xerox has a listing on LinkedIn for a national channel account manager (NCAM) position.

The Norwalk, Conn.-based print and workplace technology products vendor seeks candidates with at least three years of experience working for a national solution provider and with a bachelor’s degree.

Candidates should have experience with channel and partnership management, indirect sales, marketing, balance sheets and exceeding sales targets.

The manager will develop and manage Xerox business relationships with distribution partners. The manager will work on sales management, sales training, business plans, marketing programs, field engagement, event planning and other efforts to grow partners’ business and relationships.

SAP

SAP has a listing on LinkedIn for a Concur global partner marketing program manager.

The Germany-based enterprise application giant seeks candidates with at least two years of experience in marketing operations, technical project management, digital production, marketing automation, analytics and customer relationship management (CRM).

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, content portals, content management systems (CMS), virtual and field events and social media.

Masergy

Comcast Business subsidiary Masergy has a listing on LinkedIn for a channel manager for emerging business.

The Plano, Texas-based software-defined network and cloud platform provider seeks candidates with a bachelor’s degree, at least two years of channel management experience in distribution sales working with resellers and MSPs.

New hires will identify new resellers to engage, educate resellers on products and services, attend industry events and more.

New hires must travel at least five days a month, according to the listing.

Masergy also lists an opening for a partner development manager in the Boston area who will work toward indirect channel goals and objectives in the territory and work with channel partners on sales-related issues, according to the listing.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of work experience.

Comcast Business and Masergy have about 5,000 North American channel partners, according to data from CRN’s 2023 Channel Chiefs list.

NinjaOne

NinjaOne has a listing on LinkedIn for a sales development representative (SDR) with a hybrid schedule in the Tampa, Fla., area.

The Austin, Texas-based provider of unified IT operations software aimed at MSPs offers a $2,500 signing bonus for the new hire, who will generate new qualified leads for a book of business, research and document contact information for existing leads and use Salesforce, according to the listing.

NinjaOne seeks candidates with experience selling technology products and services to directors, chief executives, SMBs and midmarket-focused MSPs and resellers, according to the listing.

NinjaOne has more than 10,000 customers worldwide.

8x8

8x8 has a listing on LinkedIn for a channel account manager in the area of Utah or Colorado making up to $303,125 a year.

The Campbell, Calif.-based communications tools vendor seeks candidates with at least five years of channel partner experience, Contact-Center-as-a-Service (CCaaS) product selling experience and the ability to travel a quarter of the time on average, according to the listing.

The new hire will discover and manage sales opportunities with partners, provide an updated sales funnel and report weekly, monthly and quarterly a funnel forecast using Salesforce.

The new hire will meet with partners, participate in joint sales calls with customers and train partners on sales techniques, among other responsibilities, according to the listing.

Varonis

Varonis has a listing on LinkedIn for an account manager with experience selling products through channel partners.

The New York-based cybersecurity vendor seeks candidates with a bachelor’s degree or at last five years of experience in B2B sales—or a combination of the two.

Candidates should have experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Outlook and presenting, according to the listing.

The account manager will support the reseller communication channel during the sales process and partner with sales and channel managers on approaches, according to the listing. The manager will work with a local sales engineer and present Varonis products and services to current and net-new customers.

TD Synnex

TD Synnex has a listing on LinkedIn for a midlevel sales representative making up to $55,000 a year.

The Fremont, Calif.- and Clearwater, Fla.-based distributor seeks candidates with at least a year of sales experience at an SMB or within a business development account.

The new hire will work toward monthly and quarterly sales goals and help resellers navigate TD vendor programs.

The new hire will tell business partners about promotions and events. The new hire will track order statuses, manage accounts, calculate channel spend and manage a sales pipeline, according to the listing.

Huntress

Huntress seeks a 100 percent remote sales engineering director with experience working with MSPs, resellers and their tools who will make up to $265,000 a year, according to a LinkedIn listing.

The Ellicott City, Md.-based cybersecurity vendor wants candidates with at least 10 years of experience as a sales engineer and at least five years of experience in a leadership role, according to the listing.

Candidates should have experience with PSA and RMM tools, popular cloud platforms, programming and scripting languages and malware, threat intelligence and sandbox analysis.

The new hire will report to the CRO, have to travel up to 50 percent of the time, lead the global technical sales team and work with sales, marketing, support and engineering to meet customers’ technical needs, among other responsibilities, according to the listing.

## Acronis

Acronis seeks a senior manager and product marketing director with experience working with MSPs to assist with its security offerings, according to a LinkedIn listing.

The Switzerland-based cybersecurity vendor wants candidates with at least 10 years of experience in IT, according to the listing. The new hire will own an offering—such as anti-malware, endpoint detection and response or email security—and plan, budget and develop long-term road maps, among other responsibilities.

The new hire will report to the vice president of product and solutions marketing and look after marketing messaging, positioning and go-to-market execution. The new hire will work with counterparts in product management and segment marketing leads and use Atlassian Jira and Microsoft SharePoint to track work.

Kaseya

Kaseya seeks a channel partner sales representative, according to a listing on LinkedIn.

The Miami-based vendor of MSP-focused tools wants candidates with at least two years of experience with reseller channel accounts, an understanding of Microsoft Office and Salesforce and willingness to travel at least 50 percent of the time.

Representatives will align partner plans with business needs and suggestions from the sales region—regions include account executives, regional directors and sales developers, according to the listing.

The new hire will develop and review partner sales proposals, develop partner-specific marketing plans, assist in product placement and promotional activities and perform other tasks.

The vendor also has listings for a product marketing director and a product marketing manager. For both positions, Kaseya seeks candidates with “domain experience” in the MSP and SMB markets. The director role requires more experience from candidates, according to the listing.

Kaseya has about 40,000 customers worldwide.
