Working from home has become “business as usual,” and with 56 percent of the U.S. workforce able to do its job remotely, that trend will likely continue. MSPs now have an opportunity to differentiate themselves by offering solutions that make remote work easier. That starts with stronger connectivity.

“We’ve seen, some of the challenges that you have operating a business day at home,” says Christian Nascimento, vice president of product management at Comcast Business, “when you have a spouse or a partner or children throughout the house doing e-learning, e-gaming, e-working, streaming, doing all kinds of activities that are taking away from bandwidth from the home modem.”

That’s why Comcast Business has developed Comcast Business At Home. Clients of all sizes can have a separate modem installed in their remote employees’ homes to deliver dedicated, secure high-speed internet for business traffic. The bandwidth is segregated from everyday residential streaming and smart devices. “This gives us the ability to not only have connectivity at their premise-based location, but also have it delivered to their employees at their homes, and have it billed back to their main business account,” says Nascimento.

No minimum or maximum number of users is required per client business to take advantage of Comcast Business At Home. Partners also have the opportunity to make more money by providing participating customers with additional solutions on top of this remote connectivity product. “Comcast Business At Home also gives us the ability to add features and functionality like SecurityEdge, which is our cybersecurity product, and Business Voice Mobility, in addition to things like static IPs that they may not get from a residential provider,” says Nascimento.

Plus, Comcast Business will provide training and support to partners to ensure they’ll be prepared and successful when positioning Comcast Business At Home to their customers. Thanks to deep relationships with major software vendors like Microsoft, Comcast Business solutions are designed to work seamlessly with applications your customers use every day – like Microsoft 365 and Teams.
